In 2018 I travelled to the Philippines for the first time to meet my family. While there, through sheer circumstance I met a trans woman. We interacted for only a few minutes, and only shared a few words with each other, but the moment left me with such complicated and profound feelings of interconnectivity, diaspora, and yearning. To this day, I still think about her. This mini zine is me wrestling with that.
